Still getting treatment by old & traditional dental methods?

Modern day dentistry is moving towards digital technology for more precise and refined treatment.

These techniques and technology have made Dental treatment better & quicker.

If you are still getting your treatment done by old & traditional methods, then its time for you to choose and move on.

What is CEREC?

CEREC, which is an acronym that stands for Ceramic Reconstruction, is a digital technology by which crowns/inlays/onlays/veneers/bridges are milled by a high-tech milling machine inside the dental clinic.

CEREC crowns are made using CAD software which takes a 3D image of the tooth and transfers it to the milling machine.  The CEREC crown is both natural looking and strong because it is milled from a solid block of ceramic or zirconia.

Since the prosthesis is constructed in our office, the entire procedure can be completed in a single visit. So, there is no need to construct a temporary crown, take impressions and wait for the crown to be manually fabricated in a Dental Lab!

What are the benefits of CEREC?

CEREC has the following primary Benefits.

a) Digital impressions - no unpleasant impression materials

Digital impressions eliminate the need for gooey impression material.

With CEREC, we can scan your mouth digitally, eliminating the need for foul-tasting, messy impression materials. The scan provides us with a three-dimensional image to work with as we design your restoration.

b) Same-Day Dental Crowns

For many patients, this is the greatest benefit of CEREC same-day crowns. In just one visit, our dentists can give you a dental crown that looks just as nice and natural as a lab-fabricated crown that you would have to wait days or weeks for. CEREC technology alleviates the burden of scheduling multiple dental visits.

c) Preserve More of Your Existing Tooth

A CEREC dental crown can often help our dentists preserve more of your original tooth, unlike the traditional crown method which requires the majority of your tooth to be eliminated. This often means less drilling — which is quite thrilling for patients.

d) Comfortable, precise fit

The CEREC system features intuitive design software that customizes your crown for a precise fit.

Dr Stuti Thaper & Dr Rakesh Thaper work closely to test the restoration in your mouth, making any needed adjustments to create a lifelike and comfortable fit.

e) Natural Function

Since CEREC restorations fit so precisely, they function like your natural tooth. And being durable allows your restorations to handle heavy chewing without cracking.

f) Biocompatible, metal-free materials

CEREC restorations are made of ceramic porcelain that is compatible with your body. Unlike restorations that use metal, there is no mercury or ugly gray lines at the base of the tooth near the gum line.

g) Proven to be strong and long-lasting

One of the many benefits of the CEREC system is that each restoration is milled from a single, solid block of ceramic, making it resistant to cracks and fissures. The traditional method of pressing and layering to create crowns lacks the strength and durability of the CEREC method.

SCANNING

Branding

An intra oral scan of the patient is taken for perfect 3D imaging.

DESIGNING

The new Restortion is then designed over the 3D scan.

MILLING

The restoration is then milled using appropriate material blocks.

FINISHING

The restoration is then finished to match the actual tooth color and gradient.
